PISELLI AL PROSCIUTTO
PEAS WITH PROSCIUTTO
1-tablespoon olive oil
1 large onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1-tablespoon butter
½ pound prosciutto, cut into small strips
1-tablespoon brown sugar
1-pound snow peas (steamed and drained)
Salt & Pepper (optional)
Heat olive oil in large skillet and add onion and garlic.
Saute’ over medium heat until onions are clear. Do not burn.
Add the butter and prosciutto, then stir in brown sugar. Saute’ for just 1-2 minutes, then add snow peas and toss. May add salt & pepper if you like. Serves 4
