Since the founding of the United States, Americans of Italian descent have contributed to the growth of our nation in all areas of human endeavor including the arts, politics, law, medicine, and education, among many others.
Describe how your Italian-American heritage has been a motivating force behind your personal achievements and your vision of the future. Include how your heritage has shaped your vision, attitudes and life choices in the essay. You may want to include your interests and activities as well.

I understand that failure to fulfill these conditions may result in forfeiting the Dante Scholarship. I understand that the IWCC Scholarship Committee participates in the selection of the scholarship recipients, and I give my permission to release the information contained in this application to members of this committee for their review.
